BRINGS TO YOUR GARDEN
Easy to grow veggies
Great for small gardens
Pull radishes when they are the proper size, after about 25 days. Don’t wait too long as they'll loose their fresh crunchiness. Push back the soil to see if they have formed bulbs.
Cut off the leaves and store in containers in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
In winter, dig out all radishes before the ground freezes.
MAKES FOR GREAT..
Eat raw in salads or sautéed in butter with salt, pepper and herbs as a side dish.
Winter radishes may be cooked like turnips or used in stir fry. They may also be pickled.
