Chilli 'Machu Pichu' is a warm, smokey number with a medium spicy flavour. Growing good-sized chestnut-coloured chillies.

Chilli peppers are thought to have originated in Central or South America and were initially grown in Mexico. Following the Columbian Exchange, numerous varieties of chilli pepper were disseminated throughout the world, employed for both culinary and medicinal purposes.

The Machu Pichu chilli peppers have their origin in Peru and are indigenous to Central America. These chillies have slightly wrinkled skin and are elongated in shape. They start off as dark green and mature to a rich brown colour. With mild to medium pungency, they have a rich flavour.
