Start Golden Sunrise tomato seeds indoors or in a greenhouse during January to March or May to June, as they prefer a warm, sunny environment to thrive. Once the risk of frost has passed, transplant them into sunny balconies, terraces, containers, or garden beds for best results.
Sowing
Sow the seeds on firm, damp soil and lightly pat down to ensure good soil contact. Keep the seed trays in a sunny spot and maintain consistent moisture to encourage reliable germination.
Growing
Once seedlings have developed, pot them on into 30 cm containers and harden off before moving outdoors in late May or June. Providing support will help manage their growth and maximise fruit production in confined spaces like balconies or terraces.
Plant care
