Henry Kimber
Henry Kimber is a gardener, founder and developer based in London, and the founder of Herboo — the British gardening brand he started in 2019 to make growing feel possible anywhere. He leads its product and editorial direction, choosing the seed varieties, shaping the grow kits, and writing the sowing and care guidance that runs through the site.
He has spent the past decade working across horticulture, garden retail and plant culture, collaborating with Kew Gardens and the Garden Museum — both of which stock Herboo seeds — and working commercially with Patch Plants, Bloom & Wild and Interflora. He gardens enthusiastically if imperfectly, with a particular fondness for salvias, unusual perennials and pelargoniums.
Before turning to plants and software he spent fifteen years in fashion and luxury goods with Burberry, Ralph Lauren and Richemont, an experience that shaped how he thinks about provenance, quality and the story behind the things people choose to buy. He also founded Fenn, a plant marketplace operated by the same company, Herboo Limited.
